Milbourne Dies In Baltimore Succumbs To Sudden Attack On Way To Hospital Funeral Services In Asbury Church Levin Thomas Milbourne, a former resident of Crisfield, died suddenly in Baltimore, where he had resided for several years, Tuesday morning. Mr. Milbourne, a carpenter by trade, was on his way to work when he was stricken suddenly on the street. An ambulance was called, but he died while being taken to one of the city hospitals. Death resulted from a complication of diseases. The body was brought to Crisfield and funeral services, conducted by Rev. T. J. Sard, were held in Asbury M. E. Church Thursday afternoon. Interment was in Asbury cemetery. The deceased, who was 68 years of age, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Iva Milbourne; one daughter, Gladys, of Baltimore; five sons, Sherman, of Crisfield; Clyde, Roy, Lora and Merrill, of Baltimore; two sisters, Mrs. Job Moore and Mrs. C. S. Sterling, of Crisfield; and five brothers, Gordon E., Upshur, Woodland, L. Jerome and G. Hubert Milbourne, of Crisfield. Mr. Milbourne was the son of the late Littleton and Margaret Milbourne and was born and spent the greater part of life in this community. For the past several years he has resided in Baltimore. He was a man of the highest character and unquestioned integrity and news of his sudden death came as a great shock to his host of friends in this community. The Crisfield Times, Crisfield, Maryland, Saturday, April 23, 1932, p. 1 _______ Mr. Milbourne's grave is unmarked, but it's likely he is buried in his family plot behind his father in one of the two unmarked graves.
