Morey was born January 13, 1884 in Lee County, ILL. In 1910 the family moved to Spirit Lake and later to Montgomery. Mollie (as she was nicknamed by her father) having never married, chose to remain at home until her parents passed away. The past ten years she has lived at the County home until her death on April 4 at the age of 61 years, 2 months and 17 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mrs. Don Stokes, Mrs. O. M. Martinson, Mrs. Frank Wright Jr. and two brothers, Edgar Morey and Harry Morey. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Wm H. Pagel of Minneapolis and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pagel was in Spirit Lake for the services Saturday being a guest in the home of her niece, Mrs. A. L.
