Description	:	Daughter of Henry and Helen (Stobbe) Richert. She received her nursing degree from Bethel College in Newton, Kan. Mary was a registered nurse at Beatrice Mennonite Hospital until moving to York. She was employed at York General Hospital as an RN for over 20 years and then worked at the Hearthstone for some time after her retirement. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in York. She is survived by her husband, Richard of York; her daughter, Susan Weber of Bradshaw, Neb.; her sons, Stan Penner of Gunter, Texas, Scott Penner of Corinth, Texas; and her daughter, Sharri Coffey... Memorial services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church in York with the Reverend Mike Eickhoff officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later time at the First Mennonite Church Cemetery in Beatrice, Neb. It was Mary's wish to be cremated so there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be directed to York General Hearthstone or to the family for later designation. Metz Mortuary in York is handling arrangements.
