FRANK BILGER Mary Kinsley, daughter of Frederick and Rebecca Kinsley, was born Feb. 24, 1872, at Leona, Kansas and passed away at her home near Oneida, Kansas, Jan. 12, 1936, age 63 years, 11 months and 12 days. FRANK BILGER Mary Kinsley, daughter of Frederick and Rebecca Kinsley, was born Feb. 24, 1872, at Leona, Kansas and passed away at her home near Oneida, Kansas, Jan. 12, 1936, age 63 years, 11 months and 12 days. She was united in marriage to Frank Bilger June 26, 1895 at Leona, Kansas. To this union were born four children: Dorothy of Topeka; Jay, Lawrence, and Mary Elizabeth of the home. Mr. and Mrs. Bilger enjoyed nearly 41 years of devoted companionship, 17 of which was spent near Leona, Kansas, 24 years at the present home. She united with the Congregational church while a young woman. Her high Chrisian principles were admired by all who knew her. Mrs. Bilger was a patient sufferer several years with arthritis. She suffered a stroke Nov. 22 from which time she was helpless until death released her. Her interests were always centered in her home and family. She leaves to mourn her passing besides her husband and children, three sisters: Mrs. Charles Clifton, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Charles Murray, Los Angeles, California; Miss Jennie Kinsley, Los Angeles, Calif., and one brother, Edward Kinsley, Leona, Kansas and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Oneida M.F. church, conducted by Rev. Chas. A. Richard, assisted by Miss Ruby Davis. The songs, In the Garden, and Rock of Ages, were sung by Mrs. Wes Noble, Mrs Jake Anderson, Orville Wittmer and Sed Stevenson. The pallbearers were Henry and John Swartz, Mel Lancaster, Bob McDaniel, Garth Brinkworth and Art Thompson. Interment was in Oneida cemetery. Those coming from a distance to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kinsley, Burdette, Mary, Miss Marjorie and Genevieve Kinsley, Leona Kansas; Newton Bilger, Fred Bilger, Valley Falls, Francis Elliott, Mr. and Mrs Ben Mize, Mrs. Jim Glenn, Mrs. Nels Nelson, all of Topeka; Mrs. Chas.
