She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She married Jacob F. Burghart on Jan. 21, 1947, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include two sons, Michael L. and Daniel R. Burghart, both of Topeka; a daughter, Beverly J. Parks, Topeka; three brothers, Albert J., Bernard A. and Francis J. Hefner, all of Topeka; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Burghart will lie in state after 2 p.m. Thursday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, with a parish rosary at 6:30 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders or the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
