Description	:	Mary M. "Marge" Myers, 74, of Hiawatha, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, at the Hiawatha Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1922, in Highland, to Lloyd and Clara Machmer Dunn. She attended Highland Schools and graduated from Highland High School in 1940 and from Highland Jr. College in 1942. She was a lifelong resident of Doniphan and Brown Counties. Marge married Keith A. "Marge" Myers, 74, of Hiawatha, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 1997, at the Hiawatha Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 1, 1922, in Highland, to Lloyd and Clara Machmer Dunn. She attended Highland Schools and graduated from Highland High School in 1940 and from Highland Jr. College in 1942. She was a lifelong resident of Doniphan and Brown Counties. Marge married Keith A. Myers on Nov. 22, 1942, in Austin, Texas. The couple farmed in the Everest and Highland area for many years before moving to Hiawatha in the fall of 1963. She worked for Dr. Teal and Banta and then for the Ben Franklin Store in Hiawatha before she retired. She is a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Susanna Circle of the church, The Zion Homemakers FCE Unit. Hiawatha Hospital Auxiliary, Grey Ladies, Brown County Historical Society, and the Nemaha Nomads Camping Club. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, and three sisters, Lucille Weiland, Elaine Caudle and a sister who died in infancy. She is survived by her husband, Keith, of the home, and a son, David Myers, of Hiawatha, and a host of nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. at the Framke-Casselman-Meek Funeral Home, with Pastor Jean Marie Grabher officiating. Family and friends met Sunday evening form 7-8 p.m. Burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha. -The Hiawatha Daily World, Mon. Dec 1, 1997.
