Description	:	Mildred Bell Harvey, 81, of rural Memphis, Missouri, died September 16, 1994, in the Columbia Regional Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Mildred was born July 6, 1913 in Azen, Missouri, the daughter of Milton Dawson and Beulah Mae Biggs McNamar. She attended elementary school at Morningview and Azen, and graduated from High School in Milton, Iowa. At an early age, she became a member of the Christian Church in Milton, Iowa. On January 6, 1934, Mildred married Eddy B. Harvey in Memphis, Missouri. To this union two children were born: Lorene and Joe Eddie. She lived most of her life in Scotland County. She enjoyed working with children and she started the Hitt Happy Hustler 4-H Club. A member of the Extension Club. Mildred loved to sew, quilt, and make crafts. She attended the Barker United Methodist Church as long as she was able, and had assisted with Bible School and other church activities. Preceding her in death were a sister, Lola Adams, and a brother Floyd McNamar. Survivors include her husband, Eddy B. Harvey, of rural Memphis, Missouri; one daughter, Lorene (Mrs. Jim) Eggers of Lancaster, Missouri; one son, Joe Eddy Harvey of rural Memphis, Missouri; four grandchildren, Pam Thompson of Chaska, Minnesota; Christopher Eggers of Lancaster, Missouri; Howie Harvey of Garland, Texas; and Scott Harvey of Sugar Creek, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Derrek and Casey Thompson and Margaret and Robert Harvey; two sisters-in-law, Hazel McNamar of Gorin, Missouri and Noverne Billups of Monrovia, California; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many neighbors and friends. Memorials have been suggested to the Prairie View Cemetery or the Scotland County Care Center. Funeral services were held September 19, 1994, in the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis, Missouri with Reverend Glen Lochhead officiating. Special music was provided by Florence Weilbrenner, pianist, and Rosalie Gooden and Elmer Weilbrenner, vocalists. Serving as pallbearers were Joedd Biggs, Vaughn Biggs, Larry McNamar, Kenny McNamar, Scott Westoff, and Henry Blessing. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Riney, Kinney Cossel, Paul Franklin, and Eugene Newland. Interment was in the Prairie View Cemetery, Scotland County, Missouri. Arrangements handled by Gerth Funeral Service from their Memphis Chapel. Memphis Democrat - September 22, 1994 ed.
