Description	:	BROWER, MINNIE ORPHA—Minnie Orpha Folwell, youngest daughter of Thomas W. and Hannah Folwell, was born at Patterson, Ia., December 21, 1863. She passed away at her home in Geneva, Neb., October 13, 1943, at the age of 79 years, 9 months, and 22 days. She was united in marriage to John A. Brower, May 20, 1882. To this union were born fifteen children, two dying in infancy. She resided on a farm seven miles northwest of Geneva forty-nine years, moving to Geneva twelve years ago. Read More	BROWER, MINNIE ORPHA—Minnie Orpha Folwell, youngest daughter of Thomas W. and Hannah Folwell, was born at Patterson, Ia., December 21, 1863. She passed away at her home in Geneva, Neb., October 13, 1943, at the age of 79 years, 9 months, and 22 days. She was united in marriage to John A. Brower, May 20, 1882. To this union were born fifteen children, two dying in infancy. She resided on a farm seven miles northwest of Geneva forty-nine years, moving to Geneva twelve years ago. Mrs. Brower leaves to mourn her death, her husband and the following children: Mrs. Owen Lovejoy, Bladen Neb., Mrs. Henry Berger, Omaha, Neb., Harry B., Pine Bluffs, Wyo., Mrs. John Larson, Lake Villa, Ill., Mrs. Edgar Chesnut, Mokena, Ill., Russsell, Rupert, Idaho, Mrs. Roy C. Miller, James Henry, Thomas A., Mrs. W. D. Garrett, Franklin Earl, and Mrs. Mildred Fisher, all of Geneva, and Pfc. William Howard, who is in the service and stationed at Camp Claiborne, La.; twenty-nine grandchildren, of whom seven are in the service, eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends. She had been in failing health several years, and suffered a stroke August 6 from which she never recovered. All knew her as a loving wife, a kind and affectionate mother and a loving friend. She united with the Methodist church when a young girl. The funeral service was held at the Methodist church in Geneva at 2 p. m. Sunday with Rev. W. B. Pardun officiating. A quartet sang “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere,” “No Night There” and “Face to Face.” Pallbearers were Ed Watmore, Clarence Nichols, George Ward, Harry Ward, Ora Robbins, and Charles McFaden. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. “Weep not that her toils are over, Weep not that her race is run, God grant we may rest as calmly When our work, like hers is done, Till then we yield with gladness, Our mother to Him to keep, And rejoice in the sweet assurance He gives His loved ones sleep.” Also: Card of thanks.
