Description	:	Nancy Mae Hansen was born August 3, 1948, in Atlantic, Iowa, the daughter of Marvin and Norma Duff Scholl. She died in Douglas County on December 8, 1986, at the age of 38 years, 4 months, and 5 days. She attended elementary and secondary schools in Anita, Iowa, and graduated from Anita High School in 1966. She graduated from Iowa Methodist School of Nursing as a registered nurse in 1969. On April 19, 1969, she married David L. Hansen, at the Anita Methodist Church. this marriage was blessed with a daughter, Sara Anne. and a son, Michael David. On April 19, 1969, she married David L. Hansen, at the Anita Methodist Church. this marriage was blessed with a daughter, Sara Anne. and a son, Michael David. Dave and Nancy lived in Texas and Germany while Dave was serving in the Army. Sara was born shortly after their return from Germany in 1972. They resided in Millard for a short time and then moved to Nekoma, North Dakota, for two years while Dave worked for Western Electric. In 1974 they moved to Papillion where Michael was born. Nancy was employed at Midlands Community Hospital as head nurse in the newborn nursery, and most recently, at Foster Medical Corporation, in the home health care division. Nancy was very active in First Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday School, was Chairman of the Board of Christian Education and was director of Vacation Bible School. Her commitment of loving service to her family, her church family, her co-workers, and many friends was firm. She was preceded in death by her father, her father-in-law, her grandmother Nancy Scholl, and her grandfather, Robert Duff. She is survived by her husband, daughter and son, all of Papillion, her mother, Norma Scholl, Des Moines, Iowa, brother, Robert Scholl, grandfather, Cecil Scholl, and grandmother, Effie Duff, all of Anita, Iowa; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends and relatives.
