Description	:	ALLEN, Texas --- Naomi M. Moritz, 52, Allen, formerly of Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2003, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas. She was born June 18, 1951, in Topeka, the daughter of Chuck and Ora Mae Hansford Bixby. She graduated from high school at Silver Lake. Naomi lived in the Silver Lake area for most of her life before moving to Texas five years ago. She was the catering director for Raytheon in Richardson, Texas. Moritz, 52, Allen, formerly of Topeka, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2003, at the Presbyterian Hospital in Plano, Texas. She was born June 18, 1951, in Topeka, the daughter of Chuck and Ora Mae Hansford Bixby. She graduated from high school at Silver Lake. Naomi lived in the Silver Lake area for most of her life before moving to Texas five years ago. She was the catering director for Raytheon in Richardson, Texas. She had worked at St. Francis Hospital as supervisor in the dietary department before moving to Texas. Survivors include her sons, Ray Moritz, Jr. and Shane Moritz,Topeka; her mother, Ora Mae Bateman , Topeka; her grandmother, Viola Hansford, Silver Lake; her brothers, Charlie Bixby, Milton, Wash., and Vince Bateman, Topeka; and her grandchildren, Dalton, Cameron and Breeana Moritz, all of Topeka. Graveside services and interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2003, at Prairie Home Cemetery in Topeka. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Davidson Funeral Home. She will lie in state from 1 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
