Moore Former Americus resident Olive Marie Moore, 96, of Salem, Ore., died Aug. 15, 1998, at Salem. Miss Moore was a high school home economics teacher for 28 years for the federal government in New Mexico, Arizona and Salem, Ore. She also taught home economics for nine years at the Greenleaf, Kan., high school. Olive Marie Moore, the daughter of Aaron Ramey and Olive Biddison Moore, was born June 4, 1902, at Americus. Miss Moore was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Salem, Ore., American Association of University Women, Delta Kappa Gamma and Geological Society. She is survived by a sister, Clara E. Horton of Hutchinson. Three sisters, Roberta Manly, Dorothy Theye and Ramona Moore, died earlier. Burial was today in Americus Cemetery. Memorial services are pending. Olive Marie Moore, the daughter of Aaron Ramey and Olive Biddison Moore, was born June 4, 1902, at Americus. Miss Moore was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Salem, Ore., American Association of University Women, Delta Kappa Gamma ad Geological Society. She is survived by a sister, Clara E. Horton of Hutchinson. Three sisters, Roberta Manley, Dorothy Theye and Ramona Moore, died earlier. The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the C.D. Longs Chapel of the First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Norton Ritter will conduct the service.
