Read More	Patrick L. Herrman, 67, Topeka, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1992 at a Topeka hospital. He was born April 19, 1925 in Liebenthal, the son of William and Clara Legleiter Herrman. He had served in the Marine Corp in the Korean War. He had lived in Topeka since 1951. Since 1957 owned & operated Herrman’s Excavating. He was a founding parishioner and member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 434, the American Legion Capital Post No. 1, Philip Billard Post No. 1650 of the VFW, Moose Lodge No. 555, Topeka Home Builders Assoc. and was president of the Topeka Flood Control Assoc. He was married to Mary G. Staab on June 21, 1950 in Liebenthal. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Jack D. Herrman and David A. Herrman, both of Topeka; a daughter, Janet S. Carter, Lenexa; four brothers, Joe Herrman, Stevenville, Texas, Manuel Herrman, Dodge City, Harold Herrman, Kerrville, Texas, and Ernest Herrman, Lowell, Mass.; two sisters, Martina Leiker, Hutchinson, and Mary Ann Petrik, Rush Center; and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Matthew Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Herrman will lie in state after 2 p.m. Monday at the church, where a Knights of Columbus rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m., a Parish rosary at 7 p.m. and a family rosary at 7:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Patrick L.
