Paul served his country in the Army and was awarded the Purple Heart. Paul married Doris Shiller on March 8, 1947, in Hiawatha, Kan. He was a machinist for Union Pacific Railroad for many years. He enjoyed playing music and tinkering in his shop, and he enjoyed the 30 winters they spent in Texas. Paul is preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny Paul; two sisters, Adeline and Genevieve; and brother, Edward. Survivors include his wife, Doris Collier of Honey Creek; children, Michael Collier of Honey Creek, Mark Collier and wife, Julie, of Falls City, Neb., and Trudy Moore of Honey Creek; sisters, Lucille and Alice; brother, Edmond Collier; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
