Description	:	He married Rebecca Harris 08 February 1848. Meeks Family Stories: Peter Meeks, also known as "Doc", was born with a club foot in Pittslvania County in what is now Virgina. He was a Confederate Spy in the War against the States. In one engagment with the enemy (Northern Yanks), Peter eluded capture by hiding in a hallowed out tree.
