Mr. Lambrecht first farmed with a brother-in-law, Joe Meier. After the 1951 flood he worked for the Topeka Supply Depot as a shipping expediter. He was born Oct. 28, 1916 in Topeka, the son of Anton and Angelina Holtzmeister Lambrecht, and spent his life in Topeka. Mr. Lambrecht was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council No. 2608 and Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He was married to Ruth M. Sage June 6, 1953 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Carol Lambrecht, Topeka; a sister, Rose Meier, Topeka; and a brother, Anton Lambrecht, Topeka. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Lambrecht will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. Thursday at Brennan Funeral Home where rosaries will be recited by the parish at 7:30 p.m. and Knights of Columbus Council No. 2608 at 8 p.m. Thursday.
