Description	:	Riender Zimmerman was born in Germany in 1867 and died at his home five miles east of Beatrice, April 29, 1920, age 53 years, 6 months, 29 days. Riender was a son of Mr. & Mrs. Riender Zimmerman who are both dead. Mr. Zimmerman came with his parents from Germany when he was ll years old and lived in Illinois for one year and then came to Hanover, Neb. where he was confirmed and later married to Miss Winnie Pardee. Read More	Riender Zimmerman was born in Germany in 1867 and died at his home five miles east of Beatrice, April 29, 1920, age 53 years, 6 months, 29 days. Riender was a son of Mr. & Mrs. Riender Zimmerman who are both dead. Mr. Zimmerman came with his parents from Germany when he was ll years old and lived in Illinois for one year and then came to Hanover, Neb. where he was confirmed and later married to Miss Winnie Pardee. To this union, one son was born, Riender, who is still living. Mr. Zimmerman's wife died after about two and a half years and later he was married to Miss Hilka Schuster the 27th of March 1895. They resided on a farm two miles northwest of the Hanover church for six years and then moved to the place where they now live for nineteen years, five miles east of Beatrice, the home where he died. Death was caused by cancer of the stomach. He hadn't been in good health for six weeks before he died. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, one sister, one brother, thirteen children, six sons and seven daughters: Mrs.DeBuhr near Cortland, Mrs. Oltman, Pickrell and Etta, Elizabeth, Grace, Fanny and Emma and Riender, Evert, George, Harvey, John and Elmer and besides he leaves six grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The children had given them a surprise on their 25th anniversary the 27th of March. Mr. Zimmerman led a Christian life the time he was on this earth and was loved and esteemed by all who knew him. Funeral services were held Sunday May 2 at 11 o'clock at his home and at 12 o'clock at the Lutheran church one and a half miles northeast of his home. Interment was in the cemetery near the church. His name and kind dispesition will long be remember in the community in which he grew to manhood as was shown by the beautiful flowers sent by his friends. Beatrice, Ne Daily Sun May 13, 1920
