Description	:	Richard A. Fusaro, Sr., 80, Topeka, died June 18, 2011, at his home. Richard was born Nov. 11, 1930 in Philadelphia PA, to John and Katherine Decenzo Fusaro, Sr. He served in the Navy Reserves for six months until he received an honorable discharge. He then joined the Air Force 55th Air Refueling Squadron for six years. Upon leaving the Air Force, Richard worked for two years at Cessna Aircraft Company in Wichita. From 1959-1982 Richard worked for the Topeka Police Dept., retiring with the rank of Lieutenant. He then worked for the State of Kansas for ten years.... Read More	Richard A. Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a charter member of the Amerita Club of America, and a member of FOP Lodge No. 3. He married Marlene M. (Dreher) Fusaro Jan. 3, 1953. She preceded him in death July 23, 2002. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph Fusaro, Sr. and Robert Fusaro, Sr. Richard is survived by his three children, Richard (Rick) Fusaro, Jr. and his wife Nancy, Topeka, Stefano Giovanni Fusaro and his wife Carol, Topeka, and Toni (Fusaro) Webb and her husband Mark, Topeka; six grandchildren, Hollie Fusaro, Becca Fusaro, Kristin Kelly, Steven & Cheyenne Fusaro & Rachel Webb; one brother John Fusaro, Jr., Moorehead City, NC. Mr. Fusaro will lie in state 1 hour prior to service. Funeral Services will be Wed., 11 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or Midland Hospice sent in care of Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd., Topeka, KS 66614.
