Description	:	Richard Francis Miller was born on November 23, 1932 and passed into eternal glory with his Savior on November 8, 2018. He was born in Alton, Illinois to Thomas and Rose Miller. He proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War. In 1963, Richard and his wife Waunita relocated to Auburn from Torrance, Calif. Read More	Richard Francis Miller was born on November 23, 1932 and passed into eternal glory with his Savior on November 8, 2018. He was born in Alton, Illinois to Thomas and Rose Miller. He proudly served in the Navy during the Korean War. In 1963, Richard and his wife Waunita relocated to Auburn from Torrance, Calif. Richard started Miller's Heating and Air Conditioning in 1970, a company that still serves the Auburn community to this day nearly 50 years later. Richard was a lifetime member of the Auburn Boat Club, in which he enjoyed weekend boating and camping trips with his wife and granddaughters. He is also fondly remembered as the Auburn Boat Club Indian "Chief" who delighted adults and children alike around the campfire with humorous stories of hunting and survival skills. Richard is preceded into heaven by his wife Waunita, and he is survived by his son and daughter-in law , granddaughters, their husbands, and seven great grandchildren, whom he affectionately called his "punkins." His final months were spent at Almond Gardens Senior Care, where he was well looked after. Thank you Almond Gardens staff for the love and gracious attention you gave to Richard during his time there.
