Knight, mention of whose death was made in last week's Leader, were held from the Methodist church in Malvern Thursday afternoon, November 28, at three o'clock. The Church was filled to overflowing with loving friends and relatives come to pay their last respects to this woman whom all loved who knew. A profusion of beautiful flowers testifed to the loving remembrance of friends, relatives and organizations. Rev. Walter C. Plank the pastor read the scripture lesson. Rev M. A. Gable a former pastor and near friend of the deceased, preached the serman. A special choir, Mesers. R. W. Criswell, Baton Tennant and Mesdaines L A. Talbott and J. H. Beckwith with Mrs. J. W. Baer accompanist, sang. The pall bearers were Mesers Harry Stone, Roy Donner, J. H. Beckwith, N. B. Smith C. E. Porter and Dr. J. W. Baer. The remains were laid to rest in the Malvern Cemetery. Rosa Bell Barnett, the daughter of Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Barnett was born in Birmingham, Iowa. November 9, 1868. She came with her parents in 1870 to Malvern where they located and where she ever after made her home. She was united in marriage with John E. Knight of Malvern. December 19, 1888. To this union were born two children, Edward W. of Malvern and Gladys E. Klamm of Parkville , Mo., with the husband survive her. While yet a young girl she was converted and united with the Methodist church in Malvern of which she was a faithful and consecrated member until the end. When in health she was active in every department of the church work and it can be truly said of her that she lived. She was active in social life as well and as a friend and neighbor she was ever kind and thoughtful and helpful to a marked degree. Her cheerful, sunny disposition did much toward smoothing out the rough spots in the lives of many a friend or needy one. For the past few months she has been in very poor health, graduallly approaching the end, and this she faced cheerfully, as she had all of life's hard places, for she had no fear of the future. She was in every sense of the word a good woman. Our deepest sympathy is extended the sorrowing husband and children.
