Description	:	The Madison County Record Huntsville, AR 20 Mar 1930 Roy Dudgeon, age 36 years, died at his home at Aurora at 7 o'clock Monday evening and his remains were interred in the Aurora cemetery Tuesday afternoon with military honors under the auspices of Madison Post No. 137 of the American Legion of which he was a member. Religious services were conducted at the home by Rev. D. N. Dudgeon, uncle of the deceased, and Chas. L. McElhaney. Religious services were conducted at the home by Rev. D. N. Dudgeon, uncle of the deceased, and Chas. L. McElhaney. Mr. Dudgeon had been afflicted with tuberculosis since a few years after his return from service in the United States army during the World war, one year of which he spent overseas. His death, while not a surprise, was somewhat unexpected. He had not become confined to his bed but went about where he chose to go, and was in Huntsville during the forenoon of the day he died. A hemorrhage was the immediate cause of his passing away. Surviving Mr. Dudgeon are his wife and two children, is father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Dudgeon, and two sisters, and two brothers, Mrs. Frank Whorton and Lloyd Dudgeon of Grove, Okla, Velma Dudgeon and Ewell Dudgeon of Aurora, all of whom were present at the funeral.
