Two weeks later another operation for removal of a kidney. She was getting along fine and had been sitting up four days previous to her demise. On Monday she was seized with pulmonary embolism, which was the immediate cause of her death. She expired an hour thereafter. The attainments and worldly fame of many holds no brief for the sincerity of this worthy woman, whose sudden death has caused a gloom throughout the countryside. The keynote of her life was unselfishness in love and devotion. She was of splendid character and never did she lapse in her natural desire to disseminate sunshine in the path of her fellow beings. Mrs. Wilson's interest centered in her home life and a place is vacant in her home that can never be filled. It is well to have known and enjoyed her friendship and now, though she is gone, the fragrance of her life will linger, a pleasant memory for many a day. The deceased was born at Bazile Mills on October 1, 1885 and died at the age of 43 years, 9 months and 14 days. Her whole life was spent in this vicinity. On May 17, 1905 she was united in marriage to Peter Wilson. To this union one daughter, Alma, was born. Following their marriage, they made their home in Bazile Mills up to five years ago, when they moved to Winnetoon, where Mrs. Wilson resided up to the time of here illness and death. She leaves to mourn her husband and daughter, her father, Carl Schoenfeldt and four sisters; Mrs. Carl Suhr, Mrs. Amelia Jensen, Mrs. W.C. Hengstler and Mrs. Fred Bessert, all residing in the vicinity of Winnetoon and Creighton. Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock from the home in Winnetoon and at 2:00 from the Lutheran Church at Bazile Mills with the pastor, Rev. Stegemann, officiating. The remains will be laid to rest in the Creighton cemetery.
