Description	:	Nodaway News: Savilla Ann Markley was born January 25, 1827 in Ohio. She united in marriage to John Bixler on Thanksgiving Day 1846, and moved in Adams County, Iowa in 1857. Mr. Bixler died January 9, 1903. To this union were born thirteen children, two of whom died in infancy and three after reaching maturity, namely Lillie, wife of Charles C. Strait; Lydia, wife of Henry Walton of Dakota, and Charles K. Read More	Nodaway News: Savilla Ann Markley was born January 25, 1827 in Ohio. She united in marriage to John Bixler on Thanksgiving Day 1846, and moved in Adams County, Iowa in 1857. Mr. Bixler died January 9, 1903. To this union were born thirteen children, two of whom died in infancy and three after reaching maturity, namely Lillie, wife of Charles C. She also leaves forty one grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. In 1887, she and her husband with others, were baptized and formed the charter membership of the Highland Advent Christian Church, of which she remained a true and faithful member until her death, which occurred Tuesday morning, December 21, 1909, at 11 o'clock, at the age of 83 years, 10 months, and 27 days. She sleeps with the full assurance of the soon consummation of that blessed hope of the soon appearing of her blessed Lord and Master to call her and her love ones from the grave to meet the living ones and then to reign on the earth made new, with Christ as King of King and Lord of Lords.
