Steve was born Sept. 9, 1950 in Marysville, KS, the son of Maurice Dultmeier and Betty Lou Mayer Dultmeier. He attended Most Pure Heart of Mary Grade School and graduated from Hayden High in 1968. Steve married Valerie Bayless in 1971 and they later divorced. Steve was a builder/developer in Topeka. He designed and built the Berkshire Golf Course and club house. Steve was born Sept. 9, 1950 in Marysville, KS, the son of Maurice Dultmeier and Betty Lou Mayer Dultmeier. He attended Most Pure Heart of Mary Grade School and graduated from Hayden High in 1968. Steve married Valerie Bayless in 1971 and they later divorced. Steve was a builder/developer in Topeka. He designed and built the Berkshire Golf Course and club house. Steve had been in California for about seven years but was preparing to relocate to Florida to be close to his three grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and liked to play practical jokes but was always available to help those in need. Survivors include his daughter, Jamie Dultmeier; son, Steven Dultmeier (Rebecca) and grandchildren, Drew, Riley and Zachary Dultmeier; mother, Betty Dultmeier; father and step-mother, Maurice and Joyce Dultmeier; brother, Chuck Dultmeier (Cheryl); sister, Sallie Dultmeier; nephew, Brian Dultmeier (Traci) and children, Dalton and Devin; niece, Heather Beckman (Todd) and children, Trevor and Brody; niece, Mikaela Dultmeier; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and his constant companion and best buddy, his dog, Moses. Steve was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Dultmeier. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wed. at Christ the King Church where family will greet friends from 9 until 11. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Private inurnment will take place later at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
