She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church in Worms. After she was married to Henry Thede in Worms, the young couple made their home on the farm where she was born, and Mrs. Thede lived on this same farm for her entire life until she entered the hospital at Hastings where she died Wednesday, January 16, 1963 at the age of over... She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church in Worms. After she was married to Henry Thede in Worms, the young couple made their home on the farm where she was born, and Mrs. Thede lived on this same farm for her entire life until she entered the hospital at Hastings where she died Wednesday, January 16, 1963 at the age of over 88 years. She was survived by one daughter, Mrs. Viola Busch of Ann Arbor, Michigan; three sons, August who died January 21, Harry of St. Libory and Walter of Palmer, two sisters, Mrs. Molly Ernest of Schuyler, Nebraska, Mrs. Emma Krause of Amarillo, Texas, three brothers, John of Grand Island, August of Cheyenne, Wyo. and Ferdinand of Palmer. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one daughter, one brother and six sisters.
