A native of England, he was said to have been 42 years of age and to have had two brothers who were residents of El Dorado County. Thomas died of miners’ consumption. -- Thomas ‘Clements’ died at El Dorado County hospital but does not appear on the hospital’s record of burials in the hospital’s cemetery.
