She was born Dec. 7, 1919, outside of Victoria, Kan., the daughter of Joseph and Catherine Dreiling. She was raised in Victoria and in 1939, graduated from Salina Beauty Academy. She worked as a hairdresser in Hays, Topeka and Wichita until her retirement in Topeka in 1981. On Sept. 4, 1944, she married Victor Pfannenstiel of Munjor. He preceded her in death in 1994. She also was preceded in death by a son, Lawrence, in 1948. Survivors include two sons, Donald Pfannenstiel, Sellersburg, Ind., and Thomas Pfannenstiel, Topeka; three grand- children; two great-grandchildren; and her sister, Rose Webb, Portland, Ore. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday with a parish rosary at 6 p.m. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice, 200 S.W.
