"Russ" Williams, Jr., age 76, of Council Bluffs, passed away June 21, 2014. In addition to his parents, Russ was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, in 2013; brother, James; and sister, Dona Magnussen. He is survived by his daughter, Tamra (Robbie) Moffett of Omaha; sons, Robert (Rita) Williams of Council Bluffs, Jeffrey Williams of Omaha, Michael (Lori) Williams of Mondamin, Iowa; 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Barbara) Williams, Larry (Diane) Williams; sister, Ann Williams all of Council Bluffs; stepchildren, Charlene, Darlene, Ivan, Larry and Rodney; many nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family, Wednesday, 6-8 pm at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel, 545 Willow Ave., Council Bluffs, Iowa. Funeral service, Thursday, 11 am, also at the funeral home. Interment Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa, with military rites tendered by American Legion Post #2. A lunch will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. The family will direct memorials.
