The doctor's report gave internal hemmorhage as the cause of his death. Deceased made his home with his father, Theo. Langel, living east of LeMars. Mr. Langel was born October 9, 1892 at the home place and was 34 years of age. He grew to manhood and received his education at St. Joseph's school, this city. He spent all his life with his father on his farm, and made many friends who join with the relatives in mourning his loss. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from the St. Joseph's church, and burial will be made in St. Joseph's cemetery. Wiltgen's funeral directors have charge. Deceased had been ailing for three years and was not in good health, but Saturday night retired feeling extra well. His sudden death came a severe blow to his immediate relatives and friends, as was gradually working his way back to health. Mr. Langel leaves to mourn his loss, his father, four brothers and six sisters, who are Theo. Langel; brothers, Joe, Frank, Leo, and Theodore; sisters Anna Langel, Mrs. Ed Ortman, Mrs. Joe Rolfes, Thecla Langel, Philomene Langel and Margaret Langel, all of this county. *** Le Mars Semi Weekly, IA, Tuesday, March 22, 1927, p1, c3 YOUTH FOUND DEAD IN BED William Langel Is Fatally Stricken with an Internal Hemorrhage LIFE LONG RESIDENT Member of Well Known Pioneer Family Here William Langel, a resident of Plymouth county all his life, was found dead in bed at an early hour Sunday morning at the residence of his father, Theodore Langel, who conducts a large farm two miles east of Le Mars in America township. Members of the household called him in the early morning when the family was getting up to do the chores prior to coming to town to attend church services as usual. As he failed to respond one of the family went to his bedroom and was shocked to find the young man was dead. A physician was summoned from Le Mars and upon examination pronounced that death was due to an internal hemorrhage. His sudden death came as a great shock to his father and brothers and sisters. The young man was not of very rugged constitution and had suffered from heart trouble and fainting spells at intermittent periods. Lived Here Entire Life William Langel had lived in this community all his life and was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Langel, pioneer resident of this part of the county. William was born October 9, 1892, and was educated in the St. Joseph school of this city and assisted in the work of the farm. He was quiet and industrious and well liked by all who knew him. His mother died a few years ago. He leaves to mourn his death his father, Theodore Langel, of America township, four brothers and six sisters, who are Joseph, Frank, Leo and Theodore Langel, Mrs. Ed Ortman, living three miles southwest of Le Mars, Mrs. Jos. Rolfes, of Stanton township, Misses Anna, Thecla, Philomene and Margaret Langel living at home. The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Joseph's church, Rev. Father L. H. Klein officiating, and the interment made in the St. Joseph cemetery.
