Miss Langel was never married and had lived in this vicinity all her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Langel, Sr. and was 59 years of age, and made her home with her sister, Mrs. Ed Ortmann. Miss Langel was born September 23, 1898 in Le Mars. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary; three brothers, William, Edward and Theodore, Jr. Funeral services were held today, January 13, 1958 at St. Joseph's Catholic church in Le Mars at 9:30 a.m. Burial was in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home, Msgr. J. D. Fisch officiated at last rites. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Ed Ortmann and Mrs. Joe Rolfes of Le Mars; Mrs. Jack Harpenau of Remsen and Mrs. Ben Schraad of Adrian, Minnesota; three brothers, Jos, Frank and Leo Langel, all of Le Mars. She was born Sept. 23, 1898, in Le Mars, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Langel Sr. Surviving are four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Ed Ortmann, Mrs. Joe Rolfes, Joe, Frank and Leo Langel, all of Le Mars, Mrs. Jack Harpenau of Remsen and Mrs. Ben Schraad of Adrian, Minn. Preceding her death, besides her parents, were a sister, Mary, and three brothers, William, Edward and Theodore Jr.
