Description	:	Zella C. Rodgers GIBSONTON, Fla.-Zella C. Rodgers, 98, of Fla., died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at the Brandon Community Hospital in Brandon, Fla. She was born on July 4, 1903 in East Orwell, the daughter of William H. and Sarah Jane (Addicott) Jones. Mrs. Rodgers lived in Orwell most of her life until she retired to Gibsonton in 1987. She was a member of Otwell Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, the Orwell Garden Club, and the Orwell Grange. Rodgers GIBSONTON, Fla.-Zella C. Rodgers, 98, of Fla., died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at the Brandon Community Hospital in Brandon, Fla. She was born on July 4, 1903 in East Orwell, the daughter of William H. and Sarah Jane (Addicott) Jones. Mrs. Rodgers lived in Orwell most of her life until she retired to Gibsonton in 1987. She was a member of Otwell Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star, the Orwell Garden Club, and the Orwell Grange. She belonged to the Senior Citizens of Gibsonton, International Independent Showmen's Association of Gibsonton, and Showfolks of Sarasota, Fla. Survivors include two sons, William of Gibsonton, Dave of Madison; four grandchildren, Dave and Dean Rodgers, Denise Sines, and Debbie Woodworth; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merle; and two sisters, Marie Dillon of Ashtabula, and A. Polly Taylor of Orwell. Service is 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Orwell North Presbyterian Church, 135 N. Maple St., Orwell, with the Rev. George Dauler officiating. Burial will be in Orwell North Cemetery. No calling hours will be observed. The Paine-Simpson Funeral Home, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, has in charge of arrangements.
