OBITUARY THE CHARITON LEADER Chariton, Iowa Thursday, February 11, 1915 BROWN - Zena Ann Marker was born in Lucas county, Iowa, on December 15, 1889, and died at her home in the same county January 21, 1915, aged 25 years, 1 month and 6 days. She was married to Charley Brown on October 9, 1912. She leaves to mourn her death, a husband, two children, Velma, age 1 year and 7 months, and Russell, aged 7 weeks, her father, mother, four sisters and four brothers, who were with her at the time of her death. She gave her heart to God in 1914, and lived a christian life. Before her death she called them to her bedside and told them she was going home. The relatives wish to thank the many friends for their help during her sickness and death. Funeral services were held at the Norwood U. B. Church by the pastor Rev. J. W. Cronk.
