Description	:	DEATHS. Greenfield — Mrs. Benj. Greenfield died at her home in Lincoln, Nebr., Saturday, Oct. 19, at 4 a. m. She leaves a husband and baby son one week old. Mrs. Greenfield was formerly Miss Abby Beckwith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Beckwith, of Hiawatha. She was a graduate of the Hiawatha High school and of Kansas university. It was while attending the university that she met Mr. Greenfield. The body will be brought to Hiawatha Sunday morning for burial. Greenfield — Abby Beckwith Greenfield, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Beckwith, was born near Hiawatha March 26, 1883, and died Oct. 19, at the hospital in Lincoln, Nebr. Miss Beckwith grew to womanhood on the farm near Hiawatha. She was a graduate of the Hiawatha High school and of the Kansas state university. After her graduation she taught two years and was married in August, 1909, to Benj. Greenfield, who with an infant son, James Edward, is left to mourn her loss. The body was brought to Hiawatha Sunday morning and taken to her parent's home southwest of town where the funeral was held Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. Mr. Merritt, of the Baptist church of which Mrs. Greenfield was a member. A quartet composed of Misses Nelle Lewis and Mamie Rosenberger, Elmer Hanson and Rev. Mr. Merritt sang "Nearer My God to Thee," "Abide With Me" and "Asleep in Jesus." The body bearers were neighbor boys: George Meisenheimer, Todd Brown, Wright Patton, L. C.
