She was one of five children born to Olaf and Mathilda (Olson) Domire. Nora was baptized as an infant at the Bluflat Lutheran Church in Portland. Read More	Liberty County Times, Chester, MT, 24 Nov 1983 Agnes Lenore Connolly was born in Portland, North Dakota, on Feb. 2, 1905. She was one of five children born to Olaf and Mathilda (Olson) Domire. Nora was baptized as an infant at the Bluflat Lutheran Church in Portland. She came to Montana in 1910 with her parents, who homesteaded in the Goldstone community 20 miles north of Rudyard. It was there she attended the Swift country school. In 1917 her family moved to a farm 10 miles north of Rudyard and she continued her education there at the Hue country school. In 1925, Nora moved with her brother, Bennie, to a farm located 1-1/2 miles north of town, and helped with the cooking and farming operations. On Dec. 3, 1936 Lenore married George L. Connolly in Havre. They made their home in Rudyard, where George farmed and worked at Sanvik's for many years. Her husband died on Dec. 10, 1958. Nora remained at home in Rudyard until 1980 when she entered the Liberty County Rest Home due to failing health. She died there in the early morning of Monday, Nov. 14th at the age of 78 years. In her younger years she had been an active member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rudyard. She was confirmed there as an adult following her marriage. Although she and George never had children of their own, she enjoyed babysitting her nephews and nieces. She could best be described as a "homebody". Nora kept a neat and orderly house and was concerned about her personal appearance as well. In her quiet hours she enjoyed crocheting and watching TV. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Mabel Rivitt of Seattle; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ann Domire of Rudyard; and numerous nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death not only by her husband and parents, but also by three brothers, Willie (in infancy), Bennie in 1979, and Carl in 1980. Funeral services were held in Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Rudyard. Interment was in Highland Cemetery in Havre.
