She departed this life in Glasco, Kansas, November 6, 1944, at the age of eighty years and four months. She moved with her parents to Ohio in 1867. In October or 1878 the family came to Kansas and made their home two and one-half miles east of Glasco. She was the last surviving member of a family of seven children, three sons and four daughters. ANNIE BRASSFIELD Annie M., youngest daughter of Thomas Hudson and Elsie Ann Brown, was born July 6, 1864, near Marietta, Iowa. She departed this life in Glasco, Kansas, November 6, 1944, at the age of eighty years and four months. She moved with her parents to Ohio in 1867. In October or 1878 the family came to Kansas and made their home two and one-half miles east of Glasco. She was the last surviving member of a family of seven children, three sons and four daughters. She was married to Wiley P. Brassfield in a double ceremony with her sister, Margaret and Harlow Barnum in the Methodist parsonage at Simpson, Kansas, October 27, 1887, by the Rev. B.F. Rhodes. Her husband departed this life February 19, 1937, at their home northeast of Glasco. Since that time she has made her home with her nieces. She was a faithful member of the Methodist church all her life. She presided over a most hospitable home and the nieces and nephews will always treasure the memory of her never-failing cookie jar. She leaves to mourn her passing eighteen nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Glasco Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. H.G. Feldmann, pastor of the Delphos Methodist church, was the officiating clergyman. The Stine funeral service was in charge. Interment was made in the Glasco cemetery.
