Betty worked in the grill, then as a checker for K-Mart and retired in 1995 after 27 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings, Irene Koch, Evelyn Koch, Regina Koch, Genevieve Broxterman, Lucille Fox, Margie Eagan, John Eagan, and a daughter-in-law Julie Ketter. Betty will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Monday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.The family suggests contributions be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
