Description	:	Carl H. Dehnbostel, 102, of Defiance, Ohio died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Henry County Hospital. He was born March 13, 1912 to the late William J. and Emma (Hahn) Dehnbostel. On December 10, 1938, he married Pauline Dachenhaus at Zion Lutheran Parsonage. Carl was a lifetime farmer and he also worked for the former Form Tool company for 15 years. He was life member of the Zion Lutheran Church where he was a former dartball player, deacon, and trustee. He loved farming and caring for his yard. On December 10, 1938, he married Pauline Dachenhaus at Zion Lutheran Parsonage. Carl was a lifetime farmer and he also worked for the former Form Tool company for 15 years. He was life member of the Zion Lutheran Church where he was a former dartball player, deacon, and trustee. He loved farming and caring for his yard. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Pauline; children, Arlene Wesche of Stryker, Ohio, and Duane (Caron) Dehnbostel of Defiance, Ohio; grandchildren, Lori (Alan) Grunhagen, Lisa (John) Mahlman, Dennis (Glory) Wesche, Carrie (Todd) Buchhop, Candace (Keith) Buchhop, Melissa (Craig) Staton; 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Ernest Dehnbostel, Lorena Behnfeldt, Otto Dehnbostel, Regina Weimken, Annette Behrens, and Hattie Dehnbostel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 20 at Zion Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-8 p.m. at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon and Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church
