Aug. 17, 1913 PIONEER WOMAN PASSES Mrs. Charlotte Stapley Hawker, one of the oldest residents of the valley and a woman known all over the South, passed away yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Victor Delor at No. 724 Court street. She was 91 years of age and was born in Robington, Kent, Eng., in 1823. She came to this valley in 1854, around the Horn. The deceased has 131 living descendants, forty-five grand-children, seventy-five great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
