Description	:	Edward Martin Cinnamon/Synamon parents were James Martin "Jim" Cinnamon/Synamon 1870 – 1942 and Lucinda "Lu" "Lula" Loport Buchanan 1874 – 1950. His siblings were: Henry Synamon 1894; Lillian Synamon 1898; Greeley Synamon 1900; Mary Synamon 1903; William Synamon 1905; Howard Synamon 1908; Analee Synamon 1910; Cecil Synamon 1912; Eunice Synamon 1915; Hugh Kyle Synamon 1917. When he was 15, the 1910 census stated that he was working on the farm at home and also attending school. In a ceremony on July 25, 1915, he accepted Cora Lee Russell as his wife. They had two daughters, Bertha Lee, and Eula Mae. In 1920, Ed and Cora were living in Mooresburg, Hawkins Co., Tennessee in a rented house and he employed as a farmer. Bertha was almost 4, and Eula Mae was about a week old. By 1930 he owned his home and they had a radio. Edd was still farming. Bertha Lee and Eula Mae were in school. Edwards death certificate revealed that he was living RFD 2 in rural Morrisburg, Tennessee. At the time of his death. on Nov.16, 1958. He was a patient in the Tacoma Hospital in Greenville, Green Co., Tennessee suffering from chronic glomerulonephritis a kidney desease that he had for years, and died from Urania. Survivors of Edward Martin Synamon were his second wife, Mossy, his first wife Cora Russell Synamon and daughter Bertha Lee and her husband, Wood Carr, and daughter Eula Mae Scussell and numerous grandchildren. His body was taken to Colboch-Price Funeral Home to be prepared for burial on the 18th at the Meadow Branch Cemetery. His wife, family,and friends gathered at his gravesite to bid their beloved husband, father and friend to Rest in Peace. (research and bio by Audrey DeCamp Hoffman)
