Description	:	Obituary: Mrs. Elsie Mae Kohl, 84, 1821 E. 21st, died Saturday, Dec. 21, at a Topeka nursing home. She was born Feb. 17, 1901, at Elmont, the daughter of Franklin Emmett and Christine Hylt Walraven. She lived in the Topeka and Elmont communities most of her life. Mrs. Kohl attended the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. She and her first husband, Woodson Roark, were divorced. She later was married to Frank Kohl April 20, 1957. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lula Wunder, 910 Pinecrest Drive, and Mrs. Beulah Wunder, 742 Pinecrest Drive; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Anne Carins in Ohio; a stepson, Jim Kohl, Independence, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery, northwest of Topeka. Mrs. Kohl will lie in state after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends and relatives from 7 to 8:00 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews Catholic Church, 2700 Virginia, Topeka 66605. Published in the Topeka Capital-Journal, December 22, 1985, page 50, col. 3.
