She lived a life of service to her home and community. On Nov. 28, 1901 she was united in marriage with John B. Luesnse. They have always made their home in Elk Township. Read More	YOUNG MOTHER LAID TO REST Emma Kuhlman was born Aug 19, 1881, near Colesburg, and died on Sept. 21, 1921 at her home near Greeley, aged 40 years, 1 month and 2 days. She lived a life of service to her home and community. On Nov. 28, 1901 she was united in marriage with John B. Luesnse. They have always made their home in Elk Township. Her life and thoughts centered about the home and her loved ones. She has been a wonderful mother to her two buys, and a faithful wife. The church came next to her home in her thoughts. She united with the Methodist church when a young girl and continued to be a faithful member throughout her life. She knew the doctrins of the church and the standards of Christian living, first studying them in a catechism class, and later applying them in actual life. The Ladie's Sunday School class claim her as an active member and student in the lesson study. She was an interested and helpful member of the Ladie's Aid A Christian of true worth. "None knew her but to love her None knew her but to praise" She leaves a devoted husband, two sons, Elmer and Harland, two brothers, two sisters and many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory. "There is not death; the stars go down To rise upon some fairer shore. And bright in Heaven's jeweled crown They shine forever more." The funeral was conducted from the Methodist church Friday afternoon at 2:30 buy the pastor, Rev, Rev. L. W. Soule, interment being made in Grant View cemetery. It is difficult for us to understand the wisdom of God in removing a young mother just at a time when she is most needed for council, love and guidance, but He know best and we bow to His will.
