Fogt and Julia Kloche Fogt, was born April 19, 1913 in Ludlow township, Allamakee county, and passed away at Postville Community Hospital Sunday July 15, at 6:00 p.m. at the age of 38 years, two months, and 25 days. Her passing followed a lingering illness which started just five years ago.She was baptized in the Salamona Presbyterian Church in Ludlow and untied with the congregation of St. Paul's Lutheran Church on moving here.Mrs. Hoth graduated from the Waukon High School with the class of 1930. After graduation she worked as clerk in theAllamakee County Auditor's office a few years after which she worked a few years as stenographer in the office of County Attorney William Shafer. On March 14, 1935 , she was united in marriage with Clarence Hoth in the Lutheran parsonage at New Hampton. In April 1936 she moved to Postville with her husband, which has been her home ever since. To this union two children were born, who with her husband, mourn her passing. Survivors include her husband, two sons, Richard and Donald and her father, Fred H. Fogt, all of Postville, one brother Elmer of Waukon. She was preceded in death by her sister Mildred , Mrs. Elmer Jeide, in 1936 and her mother in 1950.
