Cain Sr. and Elizabeth Quinn Cain. He graduated from Hayden High School and attended Washburn University. Mr. Cain was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, the St. Francis Hospital Foundation Board, various International Pizza Hut Franchise Holders Association committees, the Irish-American Cultural Institute and the St. Patrick's Day Planning Committee. He married Marie Hoferer on Oct. 19, 1957, in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Chuck Cain, Little Rock, Ark., and Mark Cain, Reno, Nev.; a daughter, Pam Harbaugh, Kokomo, Ind.; two brothers, Dan O. Cain, Topeka, and James G. Cain, Reno, Nev.; and 11 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Cain will lie in state after 5 p.m. Sunday at the church, where a parish prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Mr. Cain was an organ donor. Memorial contributions may be made either to Holy Name Catholic Church Building Fund, 1114 S.W. 10th St., Topeka, 66604 or to the St. Francis Hospital Ask A Nurse Program, 1700 S.W. 7th St., Topeka.
