Visitation and viewing will be from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Feb. 1, at Tennant Funeral Home. Rosary and vigil service will begin at 6 p.m. at Tennant. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, at St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Mickey Flaska officiating. Services will conclude at the church, Inurnment will be at Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Kloberdanz was born on Feb. 9, 1928 to Frank and Katherine (Fuhr) Kloberdanz in Sterling. He grew up on a farm north of Sterling in the Padroni area. He received his education at Mint Valley and Padroni Schools. He married Mary Yenter in Sterling. They moved to Sidney, where he worked at Sioux Ordinance, then to Seattle where he worked for Boeing. The couple later divorced. He moved back to Sterling and became a farm hand with Steve Briedenbach until ill health forced him to retire. He enjoyed growing flowers and sharing his knowledge about Logan County history. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mr Kloberdanz is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Kloberdanz of Denver and Judy Rhodes of Crook; three sons, Gerald Kloberdanz of Sterling, Harold Kloberdanz, and Daryld Kloberdanz and Robin Mazgulski of Atwood; seven sisters, Catherine Raisch of Sterling, Eva Frank of Den ver, Mary Gadell of St. Genevieve, Mo., Margaret Loos of Burlington, Barbara Talarico of Denver, Florence Schell of Sterling and Theresa Lambert of Sterling; two brothers, Raymond Kloberdanz of Kent, Wash., and Joseph Kloberdanz of Sterling; six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Memorials may be given to St. Anthony Parish for masses.
