Description	:	DEATHS Yingling Granville Yingling, 53, died at his home west of Powhattan Tuesday at 1:30 p. m. Heart trouble was cause of his death. He is survived by his wife, 4 sons Ivan of Hamlin, Noel, Lyle, Orley of the home. The funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at Powhattan at 2:30 Thursday. Burial will be in Mt. OBITUARY Yingling—Granville Yingling was born in Mercer county, Mo., Nov 13, 1876, died at his home in Powhattan Sept. 16, 1930, at the age of 53 years, 10 months, 3 days. He was a kind, loving, industrious husband, father, always trying to show his boys the right way from the wrong way. He was apparently in good health, never complaining at the time he so suddenly was taken away. Mr. Yingling spent most of his young manhood days in Missouri, coming to Kansas when he was about 30 years of age, since has resided here, around Hiawatha. In his younger days he was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge, a firm believer in its teachings. He was married to Miss Bertha Evans in 1902. To this union were born 4 sons, Ivan, who lives at Hamlin; Noel, Lyle, Orley, at the home. Besides his wife, sons he leaves 2 brothers, John J., of Topeka; Guy, of Modina, Mo.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Chas. Johnson, of Ragan, Nebr.; Mrs. H. Hickman, of Modina, Mo., 1 granddaughter, Dolores Jean Yingling, a host of friends who are in sympathy with the family. Funeral services were held at 2:30, at the Powhattan Methodist church. Rev. E. E. Tillotson officiated. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery. —The Hiawatha Daily World (Hiawatha, KS) Fri.
