Description	:	Guila Faye George, daughter of William O. and Esther M. Huckins, was born January 1, 1906 in Republic Co., Kansas, and passed away Feb. 10, 1969 at the Blue Valley Home in Hebron, Nebr. She was united in marriage to John Lester George on May 1, 1935, and to this union one son was born. She was a graduate of Chester High School and the University of Nebr., and for a number of years taught school, but more recently had found much satisfaction serving as a welfare worker. She was united in marriage to John Lester George on May 1, 1935, and to this union one son was born. She was a graduate of Chester High School and the University of Nebr., and for a number of years taught school, but more recently had found much satisfaction serving as a welfare worker. Guila was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Topeka, Kans.; the Order of Eastern Star; Rebekahs; PEO; American Business Women; and was serving as president of the Northeast Kans. Welfare District. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1959; her father; and two brothers, Doyle and Willis. Survivors include her son, Richard; his wife, Beverly; and grandson, Dallen of Chester; he mother, Esther M. Huckins of Belleville, Kans.; a brother, Gerald Huckins of Chester; and sister, Shirley (Mrs. W.V.) Krause of Peabody, Kans. Funeral service was held at the Chester United Methodist Church Thursday afternoon, Feb. 13, with the Rev. Marlon Loftis in charge. Rev. Loftis was soloist with Mrs. Dolan Frye organist. Pallbearers were Elmer Holmes, Jack Porter, Ronald Mumm, Erskine Eickmann, Francis Esslinger, Arthur Wendling. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery, Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge.
