Description	:	Ola Meyer, daughter of Nancy and James DeMilt, was born in Albany, Mo., June 30, 1883. She was confirmed and baptized at Salem Lutheran Church in September, 1905. At that time, she was married to Henry Meyer at the family home south of Nelson. This union was blessed with seven children, Alfred, Mildred, Ralph, Harlan, Donald, Norma and Marjorie. Mrs. Meyer has been a member of the Lutheran church since 1905. Read More	Ola Meyer, daughter of Nancy and James DeMilt, was born in Albany, Mo., June 30, 1883. She was confirmed and baptized at Salem Lutheran Church in September, 1905. At that time, she was married to Henry Meyer at the family home south of Nelson. This union was blessed with seven children, Alfred, Mildred, Ralph, Harlan, Donald, Norma and Marjorie. Mrs. Meyer has been a member of the Lutheran church since 1905. She was chosen Centennial Queen of Nelson in 1983 and was given the Sunshine Award on her 105th birthday on the Lincoln Television Station. Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Ladies' Lutheran Aid, the Friendly Neighbor Club and the Garfield Country Club. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Henry, on March 29, 1960, and one son, Alfred. Survivors include her children, Mildred Zimmerman, Ralph Meyer and Harlan Meyer, all of Nelson, Donald Meyer of Superior, and Mrs. John Fisher (Marjorie) of San Bernardino, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and many other relatives. Mrs. Meyer died Feb. 22 at the Good Samaritan Center, Nelson, at the age of 105 years, 7 months and 23 days. The funeral was Saturday at 2 p.m., from the Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Steve Tjarks officiating. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery.
