Hiram's obituary, date and newspaper unknown. Hiram Yingling was born December 11, 1845, and died August 2, 1915, having lived over sixty nine years. He was united in marriage to Armenia M. Crawford, to which union were born five children. Mrs. Yingling preceded her husband in death February 19, 1915. In 1865 Brother Yingling united with the Simmons Ridge Church, and ever after remained true and faithful in the fellowship of Christ and the church. In 1861 he enlisted in Company D, Eightieth Regiment of Ohio Volunteers, and served his country until the close of the Civil War. Beloved by neighbors and a host of friends and by his children he has gone to answer to the final roll-call.
