Copeland at Creighton, Nebr., May 9, 1939 at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 17 days. At the age of three years, she came with her parents to Loveland, Iowa, where she grew to womanhood. She passed away at the home of her son, O. E. Copeland at Creighton, Nebr., May 9, 1939 at the age of 75 years, 4 months and 17 days. At the age of three years, she came with her parents to Loveland, Iowa, where she grew to womanhood. On February 2, 1878, she was united in marriage to Henry Clay Copeland at Loveland, Iowa. To this union, two sons were born, one passing away in infancy. Practically her entire life was spent in the vicinty of Loveland. Following the death of her husband ten years ago, she moved to Creighton, Nebr., where she has lived with her son, until her death. She was a devout Christian, a faithful member and an ardent worker in the Methodist Church. Surviving relatives are one son, Oscar E. Copeland of Creighton, Nebraska; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Seeley of Riverdale, Kansas and Mrs. Clara Williams of Dill, Oklahoma, five grandchildren, Ivan Copeland of Creighton, Nebr; Thomas Copeland of Madison, Nebr.; Mrs. C.E. Bush of Tilden, Nebr.; Leland of Sargent, Nebr.; Leslie Copeland of Norfolk, Nebr.; three great granddaughters and a host of relatives and friends. The body was taken to Loveland, Iowa on Thursday morning and funeral services were held that afternoon from the M.E. church at 1 o'clock. Burial was made in Branson cemetery beside her husband.
