Description	:	Janice M. Delp, 72, of Manly, passed away suddenly on Saturday (April 23, 2011) at her home in Manly. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday (April 28, 2011) at the Bride Colonial Chapel, 110 E. Springs St., Manly, with the Rev. Don Preston of Bethel United Methodist Church, Manly, officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday evening (April 27, 2011) at the Bride Colonial Chapel and will also continue one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Janice Marie Pearson was born on October 10, 1938 in Wesley to Carl and Nina (Peterson) Pearson. She attended school and graduated from Manly High School amongst the class of 1957. On July 16, 1957 Janice was united in marriage to Richard Delp; this union would be blessed with four children. For many years Janice and Richard resided in Greene where they raised their family. Janice was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her family. Janice and Richard later moved to Manly where she worked as a Dietician for many years at the Manly Care Center until her retirement in 2001. Janice loved gardening, crocheting, and gnomes. She was an Iowa Hawkeyes and Minnesota Vikings football fan and had an extensive salt and pepper shaker collection. One of her favorite things was watching her grandchildren's sporting events. She is survived by her husband, Richard, Manly; four children, Barry (Sherri) Delp, Davenport, Dennis (Roxanne) Delp, Greene, Nancy (Kent) Delp-Peterman, Lytton, and Rachel (Bruce) Delp-Gerdes, Wall Lake; sixteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her sister, Lois Blakesley, Waterloo; and other extended family members and friends. Janice is preceded in death by her parents.
