Description	:	John E. Bright, Jr. 81,of Carrollton, passed away March 26, 2018, in Lifeline Hospital. Born June 10, 1936, in Vonore, TN, he was the son of the late John E. Bright, Sr. and Alva Kennedy Bright. He was best known to his family and friends as Junior. He married Donna Yeager Jan. 29, 1954. Bright, Jr. 81,of Carrollton, passed away March 26, 2018, in Lifeline Hospital. Born June 10, 1936, in Vonore, TN, he was the son of the late John E. Bright, Sr. and Alva Kennedy Bright. He was best known to his family and friends as Junior. He married Donna Yeager Jan. 29, 1954. Junior was a dairy farmer for most of his life and retired from the railroad after more than 40 years. He is survived by three daughters Debbie (Dale) Purdy of Perry, Lori (Ron) Wood of Carrollton and Lisa (John) Tiziani of Kilgore; a son, Eugene Bright of Marion; eight grandchildren, Chris (Sarah), Dave (Kim) Purdy, Kenneth (Brittany), Jason (Lacey) Bright, Jacob (Katie), Josh (Melody) Wood, Hannah (Matt) Boggs and A.J. Tiziani; nine great grandchildren and was anxiously awaiting the birth of four more great grandchildren; and four sisters Marietta Moser and Edna Sperry of Carrollton, Loretta (Ray) Noble of Winter Haven, FL, and Norma (Lynn) Brumbaugh of Sherrodsville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna in, 2008; son, John in 1994; and five brothers, Raymond, Kenneth, Herman, Calvin and Rusty Bright. Funeral services will be held March 30 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Purdy officiating. Burial will be held in Harlem Springs Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held Thursday, March 29, from 5-8 p.m. in Allmon-Duggar-Cotton Funeral Home in Carrollton.
